Hercules introduced the Hercules Tour 4.0 Plus all-season tire; it bears the M + S symbol on the side wall, indicating that it is suitable for use on wet, dry and lightly snowy road surfaces. The asymmetrical tread pattern of the tire includes cross-block sipes that improve handling in difficult weather conditions; a compound with a high quartz content enhances wet grip without reducing tread life, while a layer of nylon increases ride stability.
Tour 4.0 Plus tires are available in 10 sizes ranging from 14 to 16 inches, with 15 more sizes coming in 2011.

The A001 has been developed for specific European regions with moderate climates and wet, light winters such as the UK, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, northern France, western Germany and Denmark.
