Vredestein Nord-Trac is a tire with an extremely elastic tread for use in extreme winter conditions. The rubber contains a special carbon compound that, combined with the tread pattern, guarantees excellent grip on snowy or ice-covered roads.
The tread pattern of the tire is made up of zig-zag sipes for excellent performance in extreme winter conditions. The tire provides short braking distances, quick acceleration, and efficient removal of snow and mud. Water is drained away by means of two annular grooves, thus minimizing the risk of aquaplaning.
In addition to excellent winter adaptability, Nord-Trac tires provide optimum handling. During the development stage, extreme weather conditions and various types of snow and ice cover were taken into account, including those that prevail in Russia, as well as in the Scandinavian and Baltic countries.
